Painted pigs for fortune cookies are the best. :-) I really hope you find something just as awesome one of these days!

And no worries for latching onto fortune cookies. I think I totally would if got good fortunes, because I'm completely superstitious. But I usually get something kinda lame... Hold on. :) It's different for everyone. I totally get the desire to have something to grasp onto that gives positive validation. And deciding is a process (a never-ending one it seems), but I'm really glad I get to watch it happen for you. It's been really neat so far. Sure do love you! The hard part wasn't telling people I'm lesbian, but deciding what I would do about it. I read lots and lots of books. This one, I thought did a good job of showing me I have options and that no matter what I chose it would be good for me--but I had to choose ONE.
It's called The Unconquerable Soul by Kim A. Mack (who is a lesbian Mormon). When I read that book, I knew, in my soul, what my choice was.TA Demingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07208290063433622691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6815414794482894114.post-6019693247367037802012-02-22T08:25:05.057-07:002012-02-22T08:25:05.057-07:00Agree - 100%!Agree - 100%!MJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12424898669243629310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6815414794482894114.post-31121479997648309182012-02-22T08:24:40.910-07:002012-02-22T08:24:40.910-07:00I shouldn't put as much stock into the fortune...I shouldn't put as much stock into the fortunes as I do but like I said, I think they just became something else ethereal that I could hold onto. Something that wasn't religion. Something that wasn't telling me I was "bad." Deciding will happen soon. I'm sure of it. Plus, you'll all have a front-row seat for the event. I really have a hate love relationship with it. I loved eating fresh, homemade Chinese food made by people I met on my mission but I don't really love some of the over-processed, Americanized versions we have here in Utah.
