I need to figure out a way to be more on time with my posts. I'll put that on my to-do list.
For now, here are the pictures of our rings.
Jo doesn't like the ring on the finger kind of pictures so we tried to take some good up close ones of just the rings.

Here's mine:
can you see the colors? One stone is emerald and the other is blue sapphire.
Don't you love the woodgrain texture?

This is Jo's ring:

It's made from the imprint of a real leaf. She can tell you exactly what kind of leaf. I don't remember. But it's really pretty.

Now here they are together (because that's what really matters, right? That we're together. :)

Both are inscribed with the phase "being here is so much"

  1. Your rings are beautiful, but not nearly as beautiful as you and Jo. You are two of the best people I know. I hope that some of the comments on the posts to your facebook are few and far between. You are such a wonderful couple and it is a real shame that anyone would think anything different. I am so sorry for all the hurt that you and Jo have been through. I hope that you are surrounded by friends who know you and love you:)

    1. I'd say the community we've got on this blog is a great start at a support group. Everyone on here is so loving and accepting. It is so nice to have a place where we can express ourselves (our REAL selves) and our stories. I'm pretty sure there will always be haters, but there will also always be wonderful, big-hearted people such as yourself who are spreading the love. Thank you.

    2. Did I miss something along the way? Did you have some haters on your FB page? Who shall I cut?

    3. Yeah. Maybe, MJ. Just some mormon type who like to tell me that I'm morally wrong and blah blah blah.

Thanks Whopperlicious. :) I definitely feel loved here. And Jo is right. There will always be people who have a hard time accepting, but there will always be wonderful, loving people too.

  2. I am almost crying at my desk again. Damn both of you... ;)

They are both beautiful rings and I love what they represent (you two) and the designs and the meaning behind the designs.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful story! Much love to both of you!

  3. Replies
    1. Sorry but this is so beautiful I don't even have words

  4. Those are really cool. Like, really, really cool. And if you don't understand, I can add in another "really" or two, for clarity's sake. Is there significance to the stones? Birthdays or something? From what I know of Jo, the leaf thing is insanely fitting. And they're seriously both so pretty! I love how personal and significant they are. I'ma stop rambling now. Over and out.

    1. the colors are just our favorites. Mine is blue. Hers is green. :)
